PIPE CUTTING
Seamless and welded pipe sizes ½” – 24” in all schedules can be cut to length on-site at our Pearland, TX facility. Cutting tolerance is – 0”, + 1/8”.
ALL CUT TO LENGTH SALES ARE FINAL. CUT TO LENGTH ITEMS CAN NOT BE RETURNED TO ENERGY METALS.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDI) & POSITIVE MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION (PMI)
Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. Other terms commonly used to describe this technology are: Non-destructive examination (NDE), Non-destructive inspection (NDI), and Non-destructive evaluation (NDE). Because NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected, it is a highly-valuable technique that can save both time and product in product evaluation, troubleshooting and research.
Energy Metals has the ability to offer these evaluation services to our customers on the products we offer. One of the most requested evaluation services requested at Energy Metals is positive material identification (PMI). PMI is essential to verify that the material supplied conform to the proper specifications – to assure that the chemical makeup of the metallic parts have the proper percentage of key elements.
